Dr. Ed Simpson
Senior Pastor
Ed Simpson has served as pastor at Calvary since September of 1997. Prior to joining Calvary, Simpson served as pastor of First Baptist Church, Sheridan, Arkansas.
Bro. Ed has a passion for preaching and pastoral care. A retired chaplain in the US Army, Bro. Edhas used his personal story to reach out not only to church families, but to thousands of soldiers throughout his military career.
Bro. Ed is married to Pam, and together they have three grandchildren.

Jonathan Kelley
Associate Pastor
Jonathan joined the staff of Calvary in July of 2006, as the Student & Recreation Minister. Then in September 2012 the church voted for Jonathan to assume the role of Associate Pastor. In this role, Jonathan worship plans and preaches in our early worship service, oversees Adult Bible Study classes, and administrates Calvary's building and grounds. While Calvary seeks a new Student and Recreation Minister, Jonathan continues to oversee the Calvary Student Ministry to insure that our students are given opportunities for life-changing Bible study and mission opportunities.
A lifelong resident of Central Arkansas, Jonathan graduated from Ouachita Baptist University before attending seminary at Duke Divinity School in North Carolina.
Jonathan and his wife Lauren, a lifelong resident of Little Rock and graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, have been married 7 years and have two children: Spencer (age 4) and Evelyn Rose (age 1 ).

Rick Couch
Minister of Music
Rick came to Calvary in March of 2008 after serving Southside Baptist Church in Pine Bluff for over 20 years. Rick directs our sanctuary and senior adult choirs, and serves as the staff minister to our senior adults. Rick, a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, earned his undergraduate degree in music from University of Montevallo in Alabama. Rick and his wife Donna have three daughters, Amanda, Ashley, and Abi.

Julie Forrest
Minister to Children
Calvary welcomed Julie to its ministry staff in February 2011. Julie is a 2011 graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and holds a Master of Divinity. Julie is excited to love on and share the good news of Jesus with every child who comes to Calvary.
